Pick Up & Delivery

Pick Up & Delivery Service

We know it’s not always easy to haul a mower, ATV, or other equipment across town. That’s why Backfire Barn offers scheduled pick up & delivery for many types of equipment. We’ll work with you to find a time that fits your schedule and clearly explain the cost up front.

How Our Pick Up & Delivery Works

Pick up & delivery is a scheduled service. It must be arranged in advance so we can plan the time, distance, and equipment needed to move your item safely.

Our Pick Up & Delivery service starts at $85. Final pricing is based on:

  • Distance traveled to and from your location
  • Time required to load, secure, and unload your equipment
  • Any additional labor needed to access or move the equipment

You’ll know the total price of pick up & delivery before we come out, so there’s no confusion when the job is complete.

Important Note for Automotive Customers

For automotive repairs, we do not provide direct pick up or delivery. If your vehicle is not drivable, please contact us first for approval. Once we’ve discussed the situation, you can arrange for your vehicle to be towed to our shop using:

  • Your preferred towing company
  • A roadside assistance or service plan
  • Any other tow service you choose

We’ll coordinate with you on timing so your vehicle can be dropped off during your scheduled appointment window.

Money-Saving Tips

We want you to save as much as possible. In many cases, handling your own transport can be more cost-effective than paying for pick up & delivery. Here are a few ways to keep costs down:

  • Transport Your Equipment Yourself: If you have a truck, trailer, or a friend who can help, bringing your equipment to us is usually the most affordable option.
  • Rent a Trailer: If your vehicle can tow but you don’t own a trailer, renting one from a local provider (such as Tractor Supply) is often cheaper than paying for a pick up service.
  • Prepare the Equipment: Make sure it’s easy to access, has air in the tires if possible, and is in a place we can reach with our truck or trailer.

Accessibility & Extra Labor Charges

We’re here to help even when equipment is in a difficult spot, but extra time and labor will affect the final cost. Please let us know beforehand if your equipment is:

  • Stuck or difficult to access
  • Sitting in a field or backyard far from your driveway
  • Buried under boxes or items in a garage or shed
  • On flat tires or will not roll freely
  • Unable to drive under its own power
  • Requiring special steps to move or load

We can still help in most of these situations, but additional charges will apply because of the extra hourly labor involved. By preparing your equipment in advance and telling us about any issues, you can help minimize costs and avoid surprises.
